A new refractory section started in the Balakovo SF's Meltshop

It took us just one month to master all types of refractory works here including a new design of the shaft furnace lining, filling the ladle bottom using new concrete and hi-end equipment, as well as the mortaring of intermediate ladles using a new concrete placer.

In prior years, refractory works were carried out by outsource companies.

Now, that the said technologies are completely developed, the factory can minimize risks of unfair problem solving and improve their production quality.
