Gas cleaning plant modernization is to be carried out in the Balakovo SF's Meltshop

Works to increase the volume of the under-roof hood will start in September.

Currently, the factory specialists purchase metal structures do the enlarged assembly of hood elements.

Modernization of the gas treatment system will increase the hood volume from 5,700 to 12,800 m3. This will allow more efficient capture of fugitive emissions.
